Paul Joyce is a writer and Creative Director who helps organizations tell their story. Born in Belfast and raised near dingoes in Australia, Paul traded heatstroke for windchill and settled in Canada. Paul started work in the mailroom of Canada’s largest ad agency, and in an ‘ice-to-eskimos’ move, launched The Mailcart Billboard Company writing and selling ads on his mail cart to employees. He went on to work at senior creative posts at Vickers & Benson, McCann Canada, Cossette and MC Direct. He is also the co-founder of Readitfor.me and pro-bono Creative Director for Upopolis, the first private social network connecting sick children in hospitals across Canada.
Along the way, Paul has created award-winning campaigns for many clients, including Cadillac, RBC Royal Bank, Bell, CenturyTel, Scotiabank, 3M, Blockbuster, The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, The Canadian Tourism Commission, McDonald’s, Ford, Rogers, 211, Mt.Sinai Hospital, Applied Recognition, Humber River Hospital, Reliance Home Comfort, Premier School Specialty... and most luxuriously, The Bank of Bermuda.
Paul has spoken at the Canadian Marketing Association’s National Convention, been a judge for the Direct Marketing Association in New York, and published two books of poetry.
